The account
A direct-to-consumer fashion brand on Shopify, competing for the same feed placements as every other brand in the category.
The diagnosis
Fashion on Meta punishes two things, and both of them happen quietly.
The first is tired creative. An ad that worked in March is still running in June, and Meta charges more every week for less attention. Nobody notices until the cost per purchase has drifted somewhere it cannot come back from.
The second is lazy audience structure — prospecting, lookalikes and retargeting all in one bucket, bidding against each other for the same person.
By the time the numbers look wrong, you have already paid for the months it took to get there.

The treatment
Creative was built to stop the scroll and then refreshed on a schedule, not when performance collapsed. Product quality, styling and social proof — the three things a fashion buyer checks before they trust a brand they have not heard of.
Audiences were separated and kept separate: interest-based prospecting, lookalikes from purchasers and add-to-carts, and retargeting pools of their own, so they stopped competing for the same impression.
Visuals, offers and placements were A/B tested continuously and the data picked the winners. Budget rose only on proven ad sets, in steps small enough to keep ROAS steady rather than resetting the learning phase.
We watched the pixel, not the impressions. Pixel events, CTR and purchase paths tracked through GA4 and Ads Manager, steering targeting and delivery week by week.
The results
- $151,599+ in ad spend managed
- 50–82 purchases per ad set — stable, repeatable
- Cost per purchase as low as $17.15
- 130,000+ impressions per ad set
Profitable ROAS held in a category where most accounts lose money without ever being told.
